  1. What is Human in the Loop Protocol (HITL)?

A best practice that requires human review and approval (preferably by domain experts) for all outputs. Involves some combination of human review, feedback, editing or annotation, and/or approval before an output is completed, finalized, or shared.


  1. Does Education Modified share data with the LLM?

No, Education Modified uses a completely anonymized process in the full interaction with the LLM (all PII is redacted and then replaced).

  1. How does Education Modified compare to ChatGPT?

A few ways- Education Modified offers a more secure and data-driven approach. Education Modified Smart Plans is an embedded feature in the broader Education Modified platform, uses a completely anonymized process that is FERPA-compliant, and uses data collected in the Education Modified platform, along with other data sources educators use to draft plans
