Team Board: Overview
Like other message boards, the Team Board takes the place of cumbersome email and attaches all collaboration directly to each student. This serves as a place for: Day-to-day communication, Notes, Parent Communication Logs & other documentation.
Users can mention other team members, organize messages by customized category, filter by Date or User, and export! Input everyday observations, message colleagues in real-time, and customize filters to your school's individual needs.
To tag a team member in a message, type @ and a list of teachers will populate for you to tag. They will receive an email letting them know they have a Team Board message waiting for them in Education Modified. When you log in you will see any notifications in the top right corner of your screen with the bell having a dot informing you of new notifications.
Note: If a teacher is not populating when you type @ they do not have access to that student in Education Modified.
Team Board: Archiving, Restoring, & Deleting Messages
Currently, there are two ways you can remove a message from the Team Board:
- Archive a message
- Delete the content from a message
NOTE: You may only edit or archive messages that you are the author of. If you are an admin, you may archive any message, but will not be able to edit unless you are the author.
Archive a message:
To archive a message in the message board, click on the "..." menu to the right of the message and then click "Archive" as in the image below.
To restore an archived message, click on "Archived Messages" on the Filter.
Finally, on the message that you'd like to restore, click on the "..." menu and "restore."
Delete the content from a message
Click on the "..." menu, then click "edit".
In edit mode, delete the content you no longer want to show up and click "Save".
If you no longer wish to keep this message on the active message board, you can archive the message.
