When To Use Education Modified
Here are some common ways that our customers are using EdMod:
Grade-Level Team Meetings: When you are discussing kids in your teams, pull up Education Modified to take notes, search for and add strategies, and share knowledge.
Co-Teaching Planning: When lesson planning with your co-teacher, use Education Modified to find strategies based on particular skills or standards the lesson is focused on. Search individual student Learning Biographies to see what other teachers have tried and what strategies already work for particular students in your inclusion classrooms.
Case Management Meetings: When you are discussing learning needs or managing interventions, pull up Education Modified to see what has been done already, track progress, add data, add new comments, or identify trends.
IEP Meetings: You can print the Learning Biography to share the running log of strategies and what is being implemented for this student. Share the printout with parents and other teachers to guide discussion and create more transparency and understanding for what accommodations and modifications are working, or not, for this student.
