Accessing Education Modified in Canvas

If your school uses Canvas, you can access EdMod directly from within your Canvas account.

1. Log in to your Canvas account using your school credentials.
2. In the main navigation menu, click into a course and look for the EdMod app in the left toolbar.

Note: The Education Modified App can be found in the navigation for all courses in your Canvas instance. 

3. Upon clicking the link for the first time, you will be taken to an approval screen. Clicking "Authorize" will allow Education Modified to access student roster data from Canvas on your behalf. This allows us to load your student rosters into Education Modified. 

4. Once Authorized, you will see a loading screen while your student rosters are loaded, and then you will be taken to the student filter to view your active courses as well as different filter options. From here, you can filter by courses, learning plans/learning needs, accommodations, plan information, and/or strategies. 

Note: The student list is pulled up automatically for convenience's sake, but navigation with Education Modified is not impacted by what course you have selected in Canvas. 

If you don’t see EdMod, check with your school’s tech support team to ensure the app has been added to your Canvas account.
