How to Add New Students

Step 1: Navigate to In-App Rostering

  1. In the upper-right-hand corner of the screen, click on the blue circular "Author Stamp" with your initials. 
  2. In the menu that appears, click "Settings". 
  3. Click "Rostering" in the top menu of the Settings page. 

Important Note: If you do not see the 'Rostering' option on your settings page, you may not have permissions to access this feature. Please contact help@educationmodified.com to get set up properly.

Step 2: Add New Account 

  1. At the top right-hand corner of the student list, you will see a magnifying glass and a series of three dots, click on the three dots which will show a drop-down menu
  2. There will be an option to "Add New Account"

Step 3: Add New Student information

  1. Make sure that Create New has "Student" selected (this happens by default). 
  2. Add the Student's First Name 
  3. Add the Student's Last Name 
  4. Add a Student ID 
  5. To add a student to Courses, select the blue "+" button, here you will be able to search for the course you would like for the student to be a part of.    
    1. Click on the "Search for a course to add" and begin typing the course name. 
    2. In the menu that appears, click on the name of the course you wish to add the student.
    3. If you want to add the student to multiple courses, simply repeat these steps!
  6. Don't forget to Save!
